Joe’s early career highlights include his tenure with the Arizona Wranglers of the USFL, where he was part of the team that sold stadium signage, season/group tickets, and player appearances, contributing to the Wranglers’ record-setting opening day crowd. At KATZ National Radio Representatives, Joe oversaw national sales for the radio flagship stations of 18 MLB, 15 NFL, and over 100 college teams, growing the budget from $30 million to $50 million in two years by creating the innovative concept of “unwired sports networks.”
At CBS Radio Sports, Joe managed national sales efforts for CBS-owned radio stations, including flagship stations for MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, and college teams. He successfully created and sold the “MLB Unwired Sports Radio Network,” encompassing all MLB teams. Her agency leadership experience includes McKinney, Grey Advertising-Los Angeles, and others; and her corporate marketing leadership experience includes John Deere and Alliance Pharma.
Her expertise includes strategic planning, research, marketing plan strategy/execution, media planning/buying, sales development/tracking, stakeholder communications, training and staffing on behalf of major brands with marketing budgets of up to $200 million.
A key component of her advertising media strategy and investment has been in sports marketing, which is a core driver of interest among a very high percentage of consumer target audiences. She has negotiated millions of dollars of successful sports sponsorship investments on behalf her clients.
